Edward Kluen

Research environment: freshwaters (including wetlands), forest, marine

Taxonomic group of interest: birds

Field of research: behavioural ecology, ecosystem and species monitoring, evolutionary ecology

Anthropogenic impact under investigation: climate change, population changes and species decline

Effects of a changing environment on the breeding biology of birds (work with reed and sedge warblers); other projects: use of thermal imaging in the detection of bird nests on arable land, nest survival analysis using nest-card data, color-ringing of blackbirds to get information on their wintering strategies.
