Research environment: marine

Taxonomic group of interest: algae, vascular plants

Field of research: biodiversity and ecosystem functioning, community ecology, functional ecology and food webs

Anthropogenic impact under investigation: climate change, population changes and species decline

My doctoral project focuses on marine vegetated habitats of the Baltic Sea, where I use ecological network analysis to investigate ecological associations between macroalgae and seagrasses and their associated fauna in the frame of environmental and climate change. In my work, I combine fieldwork at the Tvärminne Zoological Station with data analysis and modeling.
