I am the leader of the Monitoring Team of the Finnish Museum of Natural History which monitors population changes of birds. I am also responsible for the monitoring of birds of prey in Finland. I have also been the head of the Finnish Bird Ringing Scheme since 2002. Main research interests: Finnish bird ringing atlas, bird and mammal (flying squirrel, bats) national surveys, birds of prey
