Research environment: marine

Taxonomic group of interest: molluscs, others

Field of research: biodiversity and ecosystem functioning

Anthropogenic impact under investigation: climate change, invasive species

Links between soft-sediment invertebrate fauna, including invasive species, and ecosystem functioning, especially how environmental change, such as eutrophication, hypoxia, climate change, ocean acidification, invasive species, and the increasing amounts of microplastics in the sea, affects the benthic fauna and subsequently ecosystem functioning.
