Expertise on management, conservation and restoration of freshwaters, especially small waters, and their riparian zones and catchments. Key research focus on land-use effects of forestry and drainage ditching on biological communities (of streams and riparian forests in particular). Research and development, public communication and education to promote carbon neutral and circulation economy of municipalities, coordination and facilitation, networking of aquatic restoration activities.
