Taxonomic group of interest: birds, insects, vascular plants

Field of research: biodiversity and ecosystem functioning, conservation biology, biogeography, community ecology, evolutionary ecology

Anthropogenic impact under investigation: climate change

I am a researcher interested in species’ abilities to cope with climate change, with data from plants and birds. By using long-term data and experiments, I try to figure out which species are able to, e.g., shift their ranges or their phenology, or even adapt evolutionary, in order to cope with the changes brought about by climate change. Expertise: climate change effects on biodiversity, climate change ecology, phenology shifts, range shifts, assisted migration.
