I am a registered professional natural scientist with the South African Council for Naural Scientific Professions (SACNASP). The principal objective of my PhD project in the Arctic Ecology and Biogeochemistry research group of the University of Oulu is to determine the current foraging ecology of semi-domesticated reindeer in response to climate change perturbations using stable isotopes and GPS telemetry. Essentially, has climate change affected where reindeer forage and what they eat?
