I am a physical geographer and a plant community ecologist interested in the understanding of long-term vegetation changes in northern environments, especially boreal forests, mountain birch forests and high-latitude tundra. One of my current key interests is to better understand the link between biodiversity and geodiversity and how it could assist biodiversity research and conservation.
