I am interested in biodiversity and conservation. During my PhD, I worked on how intrinsic and extrinsic factors of urbanisation affect the diversity of diving beetles (Dytiscidae) in urban wetlands. Meanwhile, I worked on a few projects on beaver (Castor spp.) facilitating biodiversity. My research outcomes are important in terms of giving reliable management recommendations for biodiversity conservation purposes.
